How to order
faqs
What type of cakes do you do?
We do a mini cake which is approximately 4" square and a maxi cake which is approx. 8" square. However, if you require alternative sizes, perhaps for a party or corporate cake, please contact us.
Cupcakes are coming soon!
Our cakes are either vanilla sponge or chocolate with a jam centre.
How long before I need the cake do I need to order it?
At least 7 days if the cake is for UK delivery or 14 days for overseas delivery. This may vary depending on the time of year. The calender will show you the first available date. (This may be less than 7/14 days).
Can I have a cake delivered the same or next day?
Unfortunately, no. All our cakes are made and personalised to order. We have to allow time to make and ice the cake plus the time that it takes for the postal service to deliver the cake.
How many pieces will I get from the cake?
Our mini cakes will give you 8 small pieces and maxi cakes approximately 25 pieces.
How long will the cake last?
Our cakes are shrink wrapped for freshness. They have a shelf life of about 2 weeks. Some customers have advised that they have kept them for 3 or 4 weeks before eating and they have still been fresh.
Do you do corporate cakes?
Yes, contact us with your requirements. We have done cakes for many different companies.
Can you supply multiple cakes to different destinations?
Yes we can.
What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver worldwide - however before ordering you need to check that the country you want to send the cake to has no customs restrictions on food items.
Can I request delivery for a specific day?Yes you can, but in order for the cake to be guaranteed to arrive on the date requested you need to select the special delivery option. If you select the first class option then we will post the cake to aim for the requested date, but we can't guarantee that it will arrive on that date. We suggest that in order to avoid disappointment, you select special delivery where possible.
Can you leave the cake in a specified place if no one is home?
Our cakes are delivered by Royal Mail and require a signature. If no one is home they will possibly try a neighbour's house to see if there is someone that will sign for the cake there. If not, the cake will be returned to the sorting office and a card will be left so you can contact them to collect or re-arrange delivery.
